How do I know the items are authentic ?
At The Collection Edit, we take brand authenticity very seriously. We partner only with trusted brands, ensuring that each item in our collection is genuine. Our commitment to transparency and quality means you can shop confidently, knowing that every piece is authentic, brand new with its original tags.
Do all of your items come in original packaging ?
Most items will come with original dust bags or boxes. If the items does not include original packaging this will be mentioned in the item description. The item then comes in our own dust bag.
Are the items Brand New with Tags or Pre-loved ?
At The Collection Edit, every item in our store is Brand New and comes with its original tags. We work closely with brands to bring you their end of season stock, samples, or archive collections so you can shop quality pieces that have never been worn or knowing that every item is in pristine condition straight from the brand.
Can I collect in Store ?
We currently do not have a physical storefront. The Collection Edit is an online only store. All orders are shipped directly to you, or if you are in Canberra, ACT, you can take advantage of our Same-Day Delivery service.

How do i purchase on instagram ?
Simply click on the product link via Instagram stories and follow the prompts to check out. Due to having only one of every item, products sell quickly. We recommend you save your details via Shop Pay for faster check out. Your item(s) are not secure until checkout is complete.
the item(s) i want is sold ? what now ?
Due to the unique nature of our collection, all items are available in limited quantities. Once an item(s) is sold, it may not be restocked. We recommend shopping quickly to secure your favourite pieces! Keep an eye on our new arrivals, fresh styles are added regularly.
what is your return and exchange policy ?
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return for a refund.
All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping fees are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
We charge an additional $8 restocking fee that will be deducted from your return.
We also offer returns in exchange for full store credit which is available for 1 year.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

We encourage thoughtful shopping by providing detailed product descriptions, sizing guides, and high-quality imagery to help you make an informed purchase.

What do i do if i have a faulty item ?
Our team quality control and inspect all items to the highest standard before they are dispatched. If you receive an item that is incorrect or appears to be not right, please contact our Customer Care Team immediately by emailing customercare@thecollectionedit.com.au with your order number and images of the fault or issue you have experienced.
For items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear, by accident, miss use or failure to use in accordance with the care instructions provided with the item, will not be considered faulty.
Once your return has been approved please return to us within 7 business days. A thorough internal and/or external assessment of the item is carried out to ensure the best possible outcome. If an item has been approved faulty (which may happen on the rare occasion) The Collection Edit will provide a credit note or refund where applicable.

We are currently only shipping within Australia.

How do I change my order ?
Unfortunately we cannot change your order once it has been placed. We may be able to cancel your order (if it has not been packed) and then you are able to place a new one. Please email connect with us on out 'Contact Us' page for assistance.
How do I change my delivery address after my order has been placed ?
We process and pack your order as fast as possible. Your delivery address can only be changed by us as long as your order has not been shipped. We ask to please take care when entering your postal details.
Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order as long as it has not been packed. To cancel your order please connect with us on our 'Contact us' page as soon as possible for the best chance of cancellation.
How do I check on my order?
You will receive an email notification once we have packed your order. You will also receive multiple shipping updates to your email or mobile phone throughout the delivery process.
If you think your order is taking longer than expected please contact the courier via their website and lodge a customer enquiry to get a further update on your delivery.
